- Benjamin has been accepted into the Choral Conducting M.M. program at the University of Louisville, where he will begin his studies in Fall 2023 and also serve as a Music Theory GTA.
- The University of Louisville School of Music has selected Benjamin to be its banner bearer for the Spring 2023 Commencement ceremony.
- Benjamin was recently selected by the UofL School of Music as its 2022 Presser Scholar, which is given to one music major who is a rising senior each year based on their academic and musical accomplishments, as well as engagement in their community.
- Modern Music for New Singers: 21st Century American Art Songs: Tenor Volume II is now available in several educational institutions’ libraries, including the University of Louisville!
- Benjamin’s choral pieces i thank You God for most this amazing and A Winter Night were performed by the University of Louisville Collegiate Chorale at the 2021 UofL New Music Festival. You can access recordings of both pieces from the festival on Benjamin’s SoundCloud or YouTube.

- Benjamin’s award-winning choral piece A Winter Night will receive an encore performance by the University of Louisville Collegiate Chorale at the 2022 KMEA Conference in February.
- Benjamin’s tenor voice solo There Will Be Rest is now available for purchase in Modern Music for New Singers: 21st Century American Art Songs: Tenor Volume II.
- In February 2021, Benjamin was selected as the winner of the Kentucky Music Educators Association Collegiate Composition Contest for his choral piece A Winter Night. You can read more about the significance of the accolade here.
